I don't think you need me to tell you how amazing the Final Fantasy series is. If there's one collection of games that everyone and their mom knows about, that would be the one. But whether you're a fan of just a few games, or the series as a whole, there's no denying how much of an impact it has had - not just on the video game industry, but mainstream media culture, too. FF is a series that is powerful and expansive - one that has been part of my life for over a decade and held my family together even in the toughest of times. It's not just a series of games - it's a masterpiece of storytelling. FF, as a whole, is more like a novel that lets you be part of the actual story. You partake, instead of just observing, and that beautiful plot is just part of an even greater puzzle. Each piece is filled with wonderful characters, breathtaking advances in technology, heartful music and battles that push you to the edge of oblivion and back. It makes you think, appreciate the things you normally don't, and with each additional installment, it continues to raise the bar for what a game really should be. Final Fantasy is my favorite game series and with good reason - but you don't need me to tell you that.
