TITLE: zero sum SUBJECT: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess LISTED: TFL → Games APPROVED: June 24, 2009 MEMBERS: 190+ "Tell me...Do you ever feel a strange sadness as dusk falls?" Something has to be said about a game that sweeps you off your feet and makes you buy two versions of it. For Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, there aren't enough words in the human language to accurately do so. I've been an avid fan of this series since the olden days of 8-bit glory - hell, I basically grew up with Link - and while I never imagined it possible that a new installment could actually beat Ocarina of Time in my heart, I am happy to say that Twilight Princess did. For the dazzling spectacle, the engaging story, the beautiful characters and the heart-stopping music, this is easily the best game in the entire Zelda line-up and one I enjoy on levels I can't express. There is nothing as soothing as exerting your day-to-day frustrations out via Link; I mean, where else can you rip a soul out of a Poe via your Wolf form? Yeah, exacta. |
